The second part of the 19th Edition of the Annual Educational Fair “Russian Education - 2018” with the participation of leading Russian universities, jointly organised by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) in New Delhi and Rus Education, was held on June 15, 2018.
Apart from New Delhi, the Fair will be held in 6 more Indian cities such as Chennai, Trichi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Indore and Raipure.
The objective of the Fair was to offer free counselling to Indian students seeking admissions to Russian universities and carry out on-the-spot admission. The Fair saw excellent response from the Indian students, who were accompanied by their parents.
Representatives of eight Russian medical universities participated in the Fair. Ms. Tatyana Perova, Head of the Training Centre for Russian Language Teachers, RCSC, and Ms. Elena Barman, Head of Education Department, Rus Education, RCSC, were present.
The Fair was also aimed at creating awareness on the quality yet highly subsidized engineering and medical programmes offered in Russian higher educational institutions. The standard of higher education in Russia is considered to be one of the most advanced and sophisticated. The cost of higher education is relatively cheaper, because it is highly subsidized by the Government of the Russian Federation.
Rus Education has been a pioneer in helping the students to choose a suitable university for the last 25 years. It is an organisation working with the support of the RCSC, Cultural Department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, to help Indian students seek admissions in top Russian universities.
The Russian universities and educational institutions, the representatives of which took part in the Fair, were Orenburg State Medical University, Mari State University, Siberian State Medical University, Volgograd State Medical University, Tver State Medical University, Far Eastern Federal University, Perm State Medical University and Kazan State Medical University.
