FESTIVAL OF CULTURE, DEDICATED TO THE 55th JUBILEE OF THE RCSC, HAVE BEEN LAUNCHED IN NEW DELHI

The concert of the Dance Ensemble “Youth” from Novomoskovsk City, Russia, greatly fascinated the Delhi audience at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in New Delhi on February 26, 2020.

The concert marked the beginning of the cultural festival organised by ROSSOTRUDNICHESTVO and is dedicated to the 55th Jubilee of the RCSC in New Delhi.

Significantly, the event was conspicuous with the gracious presence of Mr Andrey Klimov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs (Russian Rajya Sabha), and Mr Oleg Malginov, Director of the Department for Relations with Compatriots Abroad, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr Bhubaneswar Kalita, Chairman of India-Russia Foundation, Major Dalbir Singh, Co-Chairman of the Public Organisation “Eurasian People’s Assembly”, Mr Fedor Rozovskiy, Director, RCSC, and representatives of diplomatic corps of Indonesia, South Korea, Romania and Dominican Republic.

The one-and-an-hour long splendid and colourful performance noted for its glamorous costumes and the vibrant music accompanying the energetic steps of the artists in harmony with impressive rhythms drew encouraging applause from the large gathering.

Young artists will also perform at the largest private university in India, Amity and at the RCSC in Mumbai, after which they will continue their tour in Nepal.

The Dance ensemble “Youth” was created in 1976 and has a long history of talented young Russian performers under the guidance of Mr Anatoly Sazonov. More than 20 thousand students received outstanding choreographic skills under the tutorage of ensemble’s pedagogues.
