RUSSIAN Centre of Science and Culture at Trivandrum organised a seminar on "19th Indo-Russian Summit, Strategic Partnership and it's Significance". The programme was held on 6th October 2018 in the Conference hall of the Centre.
Former Indian diplomat of India who served as Ambassador of India in many countries Mr.T.P.Sreenivasn inaugurated the seminar.In his address there were many milestones in Indo-Russian diplomatic relations..Signing of Strategic Partnership was one among that milestones. 19th summit can be considered as a milestone in the history annul by lateral submits that had been taken place since 2000. "Russian Indian relationship which began centuries back set a model for the rest of the world. Former USSR occupied a high position in India's foreign policy in a bipolar world. The signing of Strategic Partnership catalised the process of cementing the diplomatic as well as People to People ties between the two Nations. Russia is emerging as a key player in moulding a new multi-polar world. The active participation of Russia in the the present international scenario makes President Vladimir Putin a World leader. The entire World was curious about the signing of agreement to procure S 400 missiles. The deal was not just a defense trade .It has Significance in the present Geo- political situation.
