A Master Class in the form of presentation and seminar for the benefit of heads and teachers of Delhi schools on the On-Line Mathematics Competition BRICSMATH was held at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) in New Delhi on August 7, 2018. Principals and teachers from over 10 Delhi-based schools took part in it.
The Master Class was conducted by Ms. Ksenia Maretina and Mr. Harkanwal Singh Nehal, Implementation Specialists from DRAGONLEARN.IN, Moscow. Ms. Tatiana Perova, Head, Russian Language Teachers Training Centre, RCSC, Ms. Elena Barman, Rus Education, RCSC, and Mr. Vasily Shagap, Chief Coordinator, Culture & Information, RCSC, participated in the event.
The international competition in mathematics was launched in BRICS countries during the X BRICS Summit in South Africa. The students can get access to the competition on the website BRICSMATH.COM. The two-way inter-active seminar concluded with an excellent response from the teachers. The schools, who are interested in taking part in the competition, can log on BRICSMATH.COM. The competition is open till September 30, 2019. The students from class one to six can participate in the competition. Languages of BRICS countries are applicable in the competition. The participation is free of charge.
Teachers go to the website and register their students online. The students get their individual logins and passwords and can solve the tasks on any device connected to the internet. Those students, who have DRAGONLEARN.IN profiles, can use their logins and passwords for the competition.
After the conclusion of the master class, Mr. Vasily Sagap, made a presentation on Study in Russia project on higher educational facilities in Russian universities and opportunities of Russian scholarships for aspiring Indian students.
