First Russia-India Youth Parliament “Vision for Future” dedicated to 70th Year of diplomatic relations between India & Russia was held on the  from 6th  to 8th of  March, 2018 in New Delhi.  “Vision for Future” was organized jointly with the Embassy of the Russian Federation and Russian Centre of Science and Culture in New Delhi.

The program is envisaged to encourage entrepreneurship activities among youth of India & Russia and to create responsible youth leaders in fostering business & social environment between both countries.

Russian Member of Parliament Mrs.Tatyana Lebedeva, Senator from state Duma (Upper House), also Olympic gold medallist, Chairperson of the Board at the Russian Centre for Promotion of International Initiatives Mr. Roman Chukov, Chairman of the Association of Public Associations’ National Counsil of Youth Mr. Gregory Petushkov joined the program with young parliamentarians from Russian Federation, youth leaders and prominent organizations of Russia.

At the Inauguration Session also delivered their speeches Shi Udit Raj, Member of Parlament (LS), Government of India, Shri Sudhir Sharma, Director, ONGC   Videsh Ltd, Shri Anurag Thakur, Member of Parlament (LS) and others.

The program was attended by Youth leaders from different Organizations of Russia, Brazil, South Africa, China, and Indian MPs, Chambers, Entrepreneurs, Universities, academia and media persons.

The aim of establishment of the First India Russia Youth Parliament was to strengthen and carry forward the agenda of special and privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India by united action of conscious youth for peace & prosperity in the sectors of humanitarian & political cooperation, trade and entrepreneurship, employment, media cooperation, education, energy, security & defense relations. The key objective of the Youth Parliament is to share innovative projects and exchange knowledge gained in the fields of Health, Innovations, Renewable Energy and Environment (HIRE). The program is envisaged to encourage entrepreneurship activities among youth of India & Russia and to create responsible youth leaders in fostering business & social environment between both countries
