The highlight of the meeting was the main stages of preparation for the festival from the Indian side, and the goal of which is to consolidate the youth world community around the idea of justice, strengthen international ties and develop inter-ethnic and inter-cultural interaction.
Ms Purnima Anand, Chairman of IFIRYC, addressing the representatives of the Indian youth who participated in the meeting, provided a detailed account on the results of her recent visit to Russia and a personal meeting with the Representative of the XIX Directorate of the World Festival, the Curator of the Asian Division, Valeria Dubravina.
In the WFYS, to be held in the Russian Federation from October 14 to 22, 2017, it is planned to present a representative delegation from India. According to Ms Purnima Anand, 150 people will attend the festival from the youth organisations headed by her.
In all, 20,000 people will take part in the festival: well-known and authoritative youths in the youth environment, representatives of the most progressive youth of the planet – leaders of youth NGOs, representatives of creative professions, engineers, journalists, teachers and scientists, politicians, etc.
