Jazz Band “Real Jam” Enthrals Delhi Audience at the RCSC in New Delhi

A brilliant concert by the Jazz Band from Moscow “Real Jam”, organised by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) in New Delhi, jointly with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India to mark the National Day of Russia, enthralled the Delhi audience on June 13, 2017.

A fairly large gathering, packed to its capacity of the Alexander M. Kadakin Concert Hall of the RCSC, was extensively thrilled and excited by the Russian traditional and folk music performed by the artists accompanied by the stunning performance on musical instruments. The quantum of standing ovation and profuse applause from the audience testified to the majestic quality of the music and excellence of the performing artists.

The dignitaries who attended the function were Major Dalbir Singh, Secretary, AICC, Co-President, International Organisation ”Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia ”, Prof. Ramadhikari Kumar, President, INDAPRYAL, Mr. Anatoly Kargapolov, Charge d’ Affaires, Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, Mr. Sergey Karmalito, Senior Counsellor, Embassy of the Russian Federation India, Mr. Fedor Rozovskiy, Director, RCSC, and others. The audience comprised diplomats, academics, artists, music lovers, Russian compatriots, students, media persons and others.

The jazz band had already presented its performance at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India at Chanakyapuri in the Capital at the Official Reception to mark the National Day of Russia on June 12, 2017.

This was the second time that the jazz band was performing in Delhi. Even during the last performance, they had won wide popularity, publicity and appreciation from the audience and media.

Real Jam is a unique band from Moscow, Russia. The band consists of three attractive female vocalists and seven talented male musicians inspired by American music of the first part of the XX century. They do not copy music, but they create their own musical arrangements and sing in close harmony reviving traditions of old jazz.

After the performance, the artists were felicitated by Major Dalbir Singh, Mr. Anatoly Kargapolov and Mr. Fedor Rozovskiy.
