Excellent Response for Annual Educational Fair «Russian Education – 2017» at the RCSC in New Delhi

The Annual Educational Fair «Russian Education – 2017», jointly organised by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) in New Delhi in association with the RusEducation, was held on May 20, 2017. Held within the framework of the campaign “It is Time to Study in Russia” with the participation of 15 Russian universities, the Educational Fair, heralding bright opportunities for Indian higher educational aspirants, received excellent response. A 13-member high-level delegation of Russian higher educational institutions, including medical and engineering universities, participated in the Fair.

The delegation has already visited Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Trivandrum holding the annual Educational Fair there aimed at promoting Russian education among Indian students, establishing regular inter-university exchanges and attracting Indian youth and younger generation of Russian compatriots to quality education in Russian universities.

Mr. Fedor Rozovskiy, Director, RCSC, Mr. Sergei Borovik, Counsellor, Head of Science and Technology Group, Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, Ms. Elena Barman, Head of the Education Department, RusEducation, Mrs. Tatyana Perova, representative of Moscow Region State University, were the dignitaries present among others.

The Russian educational institutions which participated in the Fair consisted of Tver Medical University, Orenburg State Medical University, Perm State Medical University, South Federal University, Kazan State Medical University, Volgograd State Medical University, Siberian State Medical University, Far Eastern Federal University, Moscow Aviation Institute, Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Kazan Federal University, National Research University Higher School of Economic and Kalmyk State University.

At the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Fedor Rozovskiy said that Russian universities are offering immense opportunities for Indian students aspiring higher education. He reiterated that thousands of Indian students coming out of Russian higher educational institutions are serving successfully in different fields across India and abroad making their marks. He also expressed satisfaction over the excellent response received from Indian students and their parents, which showed a steady progress every year.
