Exhibition of Art works by Russian Artist Andrey Karpov "India forever"

The inauguration of the exhibition of art works by Russian artist Andrey Karpov "India forever" will be held in the Russian Сenter of Science and Culture in New Delhi to mark the 70 Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Russia and India on December 4, 2017.

The famous Russian Artist Andrey Karpov has entered the art world as a bright representative of naive and intellectual art, whose works decorate the state galleries and private collections in Russia, the USA, Japan, Great Britain, Austria, France, Italy, Greece, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland and many other countries of the world today. He is widely known as the author of picturesque works, graphics, sculptural installations and also works in a genre of ceramics.

Andrey Karpov’s art works received large exposure since 1986 in Russia and abroad. His works are preserved in the Museum of Modern Art of Moscow, the Penza Art Gallery, Novokuznetsk art gallery, Tula Museum of Fine Arts and City Administration of Ville-sur-Mer in the Lower Normandy (France).

Andrey Karpov is convinced that the people from Russia and India are very close – both spiritually and metaphysically. He always kept the Indian civilization in the center of his attention. He highly appreciated it and saw in it a source of infinite creative inspiration.

The works of the artist represent serious attempt to generalize the accumulated experience of mutual enrichment of two great cultures – Russia and India.

The exhibition will last till December 21,2017.
